What’s your favorite number?

NUMBERS give us so much information and can elicit so many feelings!

Some numbers make us happy 🙂 405 – the current number of people who have signed up to pray for Faulkners to Niger Ministry! Yes! We weren’t even sure we knew 400 people!  Please PRAY that we will be approved for our visa applications which are now in the hands of some highly efficient people we met at the French Embassy in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

NUMBERS also make us disheartened. On Friday, 11/13/15, I was helping at a tournament, and one of the staff held up their phone which showed the news of the Paris attacks.  There have been too many attacks – Beirut, Kenya, Tunisia, Iraq, Paris, Niger – to name a few. Behind the numbers are people who are mourning the loss of their loved ones. We PRAY for the survivors, we pray for peace and reconciliation.

John 16:33 – Keep this verse in your heart for times of trouble.

Some NUMBERS make us excited! 63 – the per cent of monthly support pledged for our ministry in Niger. We are so thankful for the trust and encouragement we have received from so many! Now that we have hundreds of prayer partners, please PRAY that God would move in the hearts of those who He has planned to support this ministry.

Don’t pray when you feel like it. Have an appointment with the Lord and keep it. A man is powerful on his knees. ~ Corrie Ten Boom

Some NUMBERS make us pray. We have 40 days before our scheduled departure date. Leaving you, even though it isn’t forever, gives us great pause. We love our family and friends, and our truest sacrifice is giving up our time here and now with you. Please pray that this part is bearable.

You are loved, and we pray faithfully for you.

Thank you for praying,
